PTDS was launched in January 2008, continuing the controlled expansion of the group in providing a new style of high quality clinical pathology. This style is guided by dedicated principles to give targeted clinical interpretations across a huge range of diagnostic tests, creating a personal service that allows genuine attention to our veterinary colleagues and your patients. Our principal clinical pathologist is Roger Powell, previously at Cambridge Veterinary School, now working alongside Davies Veterinary Specialists.
CTDS was founded in early 2004 and is already becoming established as a lab whose service is based on rapid turnaround, high quality veterinary diagnostic results and opinions. Our goal is to offer a friendly, personalised laboratory service that provides you with analytical and service quality, case continuity, meticulous care and full pathology support. Our principal pathologist, Nick Carmichael, is supported by resident Doug Hayward.

We provide full light microscopic characterisation of tissues, with an emphasis on rigorous attention to those factors that may have prognostic value, including full evaluation of surgical margins and tumour grading where appropriate.
